กพร. เร่งดำเนินการตรวจสอบกรณีน้ำผุดในนาข้าว คาดรู้ผลโดยเร็ว
ตามที่ได้มีกรณีร้องเรียนพบว่าน้ำผุดในนาข้าวมีลักษณะสีดำ มีกลิ่นเหม็น บริเวณนาข้าวที่อยู่ทางด้านทิศตะวันตก ห่างจากบ่อเก็บกากแร่แห่งที่ 2 ของ บริษัท อัครา รีซอร์สเซส จำกัด (มหาชน) เกรงว่าจะมีสารปนเปื้อนลงแหล่งน้ำสาธารณะ นั้น
นายจุลพงษ์ ทวีศรี รองอธิบดีกรมอุตสาหกรรมพื้นฐานและการเหมืองแร่ รักษาราชการแทนอธิบดีกรมอุตสาหกรรมพื้นฐานและการเหมืองแร่ กล่าวว่า กรมอุตสาหกรรมพื้นฐานและการเหมืองแร่ได้ให้ความสำคัญและตระหนักถึงปัญหาจากกรณีการร้องเรียนที่เกิดขึ้น เกรงว่าจะส่งผลกระทบต่อชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าว จึงได้เร่งส่งเจ้าหน้าที่เข้าร่วมลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบและเก็บตัวอย่างน้ำ ร่วมกับสำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดพิจิตร สำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ สำนักงานสิ่งแวดล้อมภาคที่ 4 สำนักงานเกษตรจังหวัดพิจิตร กองกำลังรักษาความสงบจังหวัดพิจิตร ร่วมกับคณะอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ตัวแทนชาวบ้านตำบลเขาเจ็ดลูก ตัวแทนชาวบ้านตำบลท้ายดง และตัวแทนบริษัท อัครา รีซอร์สเซส จำกัด (มหาชน) โดยทำการเก็บตัวอย่างน้ำ จำนวน 6 จุด คือ (1) นาข้าวซึ่งจะใช้เป็นจุดควบคุมอยู่ทางด้านทิศเหนือของประทานบัตร (2) ต้นน้ำบ้านเนินทอง อยู่ทางทิศใต้ของบ่อกักเก็บกากแร่ที่ 2 (3) บริเวณป่าบัว อยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกของบ่อกักเก็บกากแร่ที่ 2 (4) บริเวณนาข้าวที่น้ำไหล ผ่านอยู่บริเวณทางใต้จุดที่ 3 (5) จุดรวมน้ำจากนาข้าว/บ้านเนินทองและคลองร่องหอย (6) บริเวณคลองหลังบ้านนายก อบต.เขาเจ็ดลูก ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร กรมควบคุมมลพิษ และบริษัท อัครา รีซอร์สเซส จำกัด (มหาชน) จะนำตัวอย่างน้ำทั้ง 6 จุด ไปวิเคราะห์เพื่อหาสารปนเปื้อน โดยห้องปฏิบัติการที่ได้มาตรฐาน
ทั้งนี้ กรมอุตสาหกรรมพื้นฐานและการเหมืองแร่ จะได้เร่งรัดติดตามผลการตรวจวิเคราะห์ แล้วเปิดเผยให้ประชาชนโดยเฉพาะชุมชนที่อยู่ใกล้เคียงกับบริเวณเหมืองแร่ได้รับทราบโดยเร็วที่สุด บนหลักการความโปร่งใส และความรับผิดชอบต่อคุณภาพชีวิตประชาชน ตลอดจนคุณภาพของสิ่งแวดล้อม

DPIM investigates unknown water seeping up through paddy fields
DPIM received complaints that foul black water seeped up through the paddy field to the west of the second tailing storage facility of Akara Resources PLC, and the communities expressed concerns that public water source might be contaminated.
Mr. Jullapong Thaveesri, Deputy Director-General, acting Director-General, Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), said that DPIM was concerned about the livelihood of the communities and relized that the complaints problem may greatly affect to their communities. DPIM has therefore collaborated with Phichit Provincial Industry Office, Phetchabun Provincial Industry Office, Environmental Office 4, Phichit Agriculture Office, Phichit Provincial Peace Maintaining Force, staff from Naresuan University, community representatives from Khao Jed Look and Tai Dong Sub-districts, and the representatives from Akara Resources PLC, to investigate the site and collect water samples. Water sampling was carried out at 6 locations, including (1) the paddy field to the north of the mining lease, (2) Ban Nern Tong upstream area located in the south of the second tailing storage facility, (3) Pa Bua located to the west of the second tailing storage facility, (4) the paddy field located in the south of the third location where the unknown water appeared, (5) the point where the water from the paddy field in Ban Nern Thong and from Klong Rong Hoi meets, and (6) the canal behind the house of the Chief Executive of Khao Jed Look Sub-district Administrative Organization. The samples will be analyzed in a standard laboratory under the supervision of Naresuan University, the Pollution Control Department, and Akara Resources PLC.
DPIM will follow-up the analysis results and report to the public, particularly the communities surrounding the mine, as soon as possible to ensure transparency and the responsibility for the well-being of the public and the environment.
